When does an apartment booking become binding?

All booking requests are initially non-binding. Once a landlord accepts your request, the one-time service fee for tenants becomes due. It pays for services that keep your booking safe and simple, for example verifying landlords and supporting you throughout your stay. To confirm the booking, you also need to verify your identity. For certain apartments, the first month’s rent is also due directly upon booking confirmation. Once these steps are complete, the landlord can confirm the booking. From that point, your apartment is booked on a binding basis.
